Happy 2010 and New Years Shenanigans - Part I

Happy 2010 blogging friends! It's back to reality here in Dee's world! We had a great New Years Eve and New Year's Day but were so cashed out that we took it easy on Saturday and Sunday and relaxed and tore Christmas down.

Are you ready for shenanigans part one? As I mentioned in previous posts I'm all about staying in on New Years Eve instead of venturing out to the bars. Giving that our friends Paul and Kelly decided to have a few people over to their house.

The plan was for it to be low-key since we had a big bowling party planned the next day to watch college football.

Well, that plan fell through and needless to say here's how the night went down.

Again, the plan to stay in -- eat and drink a bit but not go overboard. We all brought food and drinks.

Here's one of the food areas. Kelly and Paul's beagle Drue guarded the table the whole night. She wasn't about to have any of those other beagles in the house near HER food.

Everytime Buddy or Jessie tried to go in there she growled at them. Kind of made me happy so I didn't have to continue to yell at Buddy to 'GET DOWN!'

A group picture of the girls. No, I didn't get too dressed up since we were staying in. The two girls with 'ta-ta's' out were going out but just stopped by.

Lori and her friend in from Knoxville.

Just hanging... everything is still calm.

Kelli and I.

Then it starts.. Paul and Scott's posting on FB about their wifees pulling out 'red flags' on them. Hence the red napkin. Also, check out Scott's HUGE wine glass! haha!

Oh.. yeh.. Lori tooted on this horn ALL NIGHT LONG! way too funny!

Brad and I had a few our ourselves. A little wine, vodka, champagne, beer. You name it..

Even Buddy was getting ready to ring in 2010 by getting frisky with Lori!

Kelli and Brad right before the New Year. Check out the lipstick someone left on her cheek.

Oh.. busting out the red flag again!

Happy 2010!! Brad and I right after ringing in the New Year! You can see the Big Apple behind us!

Lori is totally gone by this point!

So much for our 'low-key' night!

We danced...

We sang..yes, they have a karaoke machine their house. Brad was getting into it.

I laughed my butt off at this when I checked it out the next morning. He looks like a Vegas lounge singer.

Yes, I got in on the singing too!

All in all.. a good time for all. We all stayed the night at Paul and Kelly's and then had to get up and do this scene all over again. Yes, I'm just now feeling better.
More on that tomorrow. Happy New Year!

I love karaoke at home. We had the cops called on us many times in college because our karaoke machine was too loud. But it is so much fun!!
