What fun our dinner/tasting was on Friday night! Again, a restaurant here in town has been invited to serve dinner at the prestigious James Beard House in NYC. Friday night they had a very 'exclusive' tasting of the menu they'll serve as a sort of dry run.
Well, it was fabulous! We did offer a few suggestions which is what they wanted but overall it was excellent. They paired each course with a wine that complemented the dish.
At the end of the dinner I was worn out! The good part was -- it wasn't too heavy so I didn't feel gross or bloated!
This was a great start to what was a successful weekend with Mom wedding planning. More to come on those details :)
