Milestone Moment?

Shelby was a VERY fussy baby on Sunday and Monday.
I wasn't sure what it was except that she didn't take many naps.
We took her to the Whitewater Center on Sunday and she ate an 8-ounce bottle in one sitting.
Then she cried and cried and cried and cried for the rest of the day as if she was tired.
That's what I figured it was.
She had just ate 8-ounces and she normally only eats 6-ounces in one setting.
What else could it be at 4-months unless she's fighting her sleep????
~~~~
Monday we took her to nursery school and the teacher told us she thought she needed more food.
I told her she was probably right.
Took her home(right after she ate) and she cried and cried and cried every time I wasn't holding her?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well guess what?
Figured she was just hungry and tired.
We tried to feed her more than usual at bedtime but she wasn't having it.
Of course, she slept her 12-hours as usual but I was up half the night worried about her being cranky.
Is she getting spoiled? Hungry? Tired???
I increased her intake for today.
An extra ounce at every setting, then I realized she was 4-months now and all my apps tell me she's ready for solids.
I had to push her checkup a week because of work so I decided to go ahead and give her rice cereal without doctor approval.
OH SHOOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but we have another week before our appointment and my baby is hungry.
Well, guess what?
Someone liked it!!
 When I showed her the spoon and cereal!
She was excited!
 Her first reaction as I was feeding her.
 Brad took that last picture and said he didn't think this was a milestone at all.
REALLY?
Well, Mommy thinks it is!!
Just look at that face?
Happy or what??
 I think Daddy just likes to be in all the pictures.
 No worries, at least it's documented!!
 Check out the video!!!

Go Shelby! Glad she loved it. Does she have any teeth coming through yet? CAS doesn't but I swear she is a drool monster so I think they are coming soon.

Next up: Baby Food. Can you believe how quickly she is growing up?

She is really really beautiful.

For sure a milestone.
Could also be a growth spurt.
I think C went through that too. Where he would take much bigger bottles but it was short lived. A day or so later he was pushing the bottle away as of it was too mich. Could be teeth too. Even though you don't see anything it could take a day or so to come in. At least that is how it was for C.
We just started c on solids. I like to wait until about 6 months.

Totally a milestone!

V has recently been waking up in the night to eat again, which she hasn't done for months... It seems like she's "needing more" so I'm sure we'll be on to cereal soon!

That is exciting. Both my boys started on solids at 4 months and were so much happier! Bennett preferred oatmeal to the rice cereal because it was a little thicker.

Yeah! Now please please promise to keep her food chemical-free once she starts eating!

I'm taking Mia in to her 4 month check up today and I'm totally asking about rice cereal. They told me at 2 months to hold off giving her solids until 6 months since she is exclusively drinking breast milk.... but Mia was sleeping from 8:30-7 every night until 6 nights ago. She started waking up at 3, needing to eat. Last night it was 2! It's KILLING me! I got used to sleeping through the night and I am not okay with this, ha ha. Mia wants to be sleeping too! So I've been wondering if I need to start giving her rice cereal at night. I just don't know what to do.
