33-weeks

7-more weeks until my due date!!
Not going to lie, I'm starting to get uncomfortable.
At times I find it hard to breathe, but it's not ALL the time, just when baby Shelby is positioned a certain way.
My belly is getting bigger by the day and I'm getting a little tired of the comments where people look at my belly and say:
"Gosh!!! How much longer!!??"
--I then tell them 7-more weeks and they say, "I would have thought next week!"
Or...
"WOW!! That's going to be a BIG baby!!"
--Thanks people. I'm short(5'4") so there is nowhere for this baby to go but straight out.

It is what it is...it just gets old at times.
I can understand though. My Mom got here last night to help out with the nursery and for my last shower this weekend, and she took a picture of me.
Even I was astonished at just how big my belly is.
And, yes.. I know...it's not done growing yet.
It's only a sign of things to come.

Back to my Mom being here.
For some reason I have been lacking motivation to go through all of the shower gifts we've received and get things organized for the closet.
Just overwhelmed by it all.
I'm generally not like that but for some reason I have been.
So, I waited until she got here to be able to help and I'm so glad I did.
We started last night and only got 1/2 done.
She's helping us out by washing stuff today and and tomorrow during the day.
Tonight the work continues.
But..
While up there working last night,(Brad was up there hanging items on the wall and putting things together), Buddy(our beagle) was off on his own.
Doing what??
Urinating all over our stairs and hardwoods downstairs!!!
Yes, the first act of jealously and retaliation!!
I'm still so disappointed and annoyed.
I know it's only a sign of things to come.
I expect him to get 'stress colitis' before it's all over and done with.
It too, is what it is..

Other updates as I enter my 34-week?
WAIT FOR IT
* I'm done with exercising. I decided about a week ago that it's just too much. I found that the energy I was using at the gym was causing me to have none for things that needed to be done at home.
Such as: making a salad, dusting, cleaning a bathroom, doing laundry.
I feel that just doing that sort of stuff can count at some exercise. Right?
Don't get me wrong. I'm still taking short walks during the day and after work. Nothing like I was though. I sort of feel like a failure but as Brad would say, the most important thing is, to make sure I'm not overdoing it so Shelby can stay in the oven until she's done.
* As of last week I've gained a total of 21-pounds.
* I'm wanting to eat Fig Newtons all of the time.

That's all I have for today!
Have a great rest of the week!

Girl, you look amazing! It kills me with how people make the dumbest comments. Just ignore them...you look great! I can't believe you are down to 7 weeks...yay! Thankfully your Mom is there to help, because I can only imagine how overwhelming it is to get all the sweet girl items put away and in their place. You'll get it done, don't stress! :) It will all be prefect.

How exciting --- 7 more weeks! You look great. I think people just don't know better when they make comments. As for the organizing, I'm sure nesting will kick in and you will be surprised by how much you want to get stuff done. Enjoy every moment. Try to go see a movie or go on a nice dinner with your hubby. Those become luxury when you have lil ones :)

Hang in there. I would just tell strangers the baby is due any day now since you will never see them again. That's what I do. Good luck getting things done!

You look beautiful!! Don't worry, like two weeks before that baby comes, you'll be nesting and organizing like crazy! I was washing all the pillow inserts, vacuuming the drapes, Husband came home and saw me on a ladder (when I was supposed to be on bed rest) dusting the tops of my cabinets! Craziness.
Our dog was jealous too, but he just lost hair like crazy, he's a golden, so he had missing patches of hair all over him. They feel like they're going to be forgotten, poor things!
Enjoy these last few weeks, your life will change, for the better, before you know it! xoxo

People say the dumbest things especially to pregnant women! Can't wait to see Shelby's nursery!!

You look great! People are so annoying near the end. The funniest was at the very very end and people would ask when I was due and I'd say "tomorrow" or "two days ago".. people get freaked out the :) That feeling of having a hard time breathing is so annoying. I found that, and the inability to get out of bed/off the couch, to be the most annoying that at the end. And of course when you have trouble getting out of bed, you have to get up 100 times a night to use the bathroom!! Haha!! Hang in there!

You look adorable! My dog, got super stressed out about 3 weeks after the baby was born. All the company had left but the baby didn't! So, in addition to feeding the baby every 2 hours in the middle of the night I was taking the dog out to potty. With? Well, you look great and 21 lbs is a fabulous weight gain! Congrats again.

YOu are all baby. 21 pounds is amazing. I felt like my stomach was even bigger the second time around.

Poor Buddy!! These 7 weeks are going to fly.

Wow! It's hard to believe that it's been so long since you told us.

Let me know if you ever need to bounce anything off of me. Will and I were talking about it...the first month or so is hard on first time parents who aren't used to it, and you and I were the exact same age.

I know you are excited. I am for you.

Take it easy and enjoy these last few weeks.

You look great. People act strange and feel they need to comment but aren't sure what to say I've noticed while pregnant!

Many speak before they think ... but mean well. I felt {and looked} like a beached whale but it was all worth it in the end.

Happy sorting and organizing this weekend with your mom. How fun that she can spend this special time with you!

When looking at your picture, I was thinking how little you look for 33 weeks!! I got my first "Wow, you must be due anyday" today. And then when I said "nope, ten weeks", I got the, "oh, wow!" After three pregnancies I am so over people just saying what they want! I may just lash out at someone one day. That would make me feel so much better :)

I wouldnt feel guilty at all over not exercising! You have done great and you know what feels right.
