Shelby's First Visit to Discovery Place

The bank Brad and I both work for do a lot of great events for families and this past weekend we were able to participate in one of them.
They had a free day for families to visit our science and education museum downtown called, Discovery Place.

It's still a little old for her, but it was something to do and exposed her to new things.
Such as...
a bed of nails!!
LOL!
She wasn't so sure.
There were other exhibits that showed how gravity works along much more.
She was intrigued.
We also visited their new exhibit, Illusion.
It was pretty dark in this portion of the museum so I didn't take as many pictures but it was super cool.
Discovery Place also has a rainforest area, aquarium and more.
Fun for Shelby to see the birds, fish and reptiles.
The very last part of the museum is a huge play area that is more for kids Shelby's age.
She had a blast!
It was a great day, but I think we'll probably wait to go back until she is much older.
Afterwards we met up with some friends from out of town for lunch and Shelby enjoyed her first Twinkie ever!
To say she loved it would be an understatement!
This weekend me and Shelby are heading to my parents house for a visit.
Brad is staying back to recover from the vasectomy he got today.
Yes, you heard that right.
We are officially done having babies!
CIAO!
