I really like living in Charlotte but what makes me like it even more than when I first moved here is the neighborhood I live in.
The Elizabeth neighborhood is one of Charlotte’s older neighborhoods and is full of big trees that line the street and old historic little homes with a lot of character. I live in one of the few condo complexes in the hood and am in walking distance to restaurants, bars and a Starbucks!
My favorite part of living in Elizabeth is walking with Buddy and being able to enjoy the trees and scenery – oh yeh! There are 2 parks in walking distance too!
One of my favorite places to go is Philosopher’s Stone – which is an eclectic little bar that plays Widespread Panic and MoFro in their jukebox. On Sunday nights they always have live music on their patio and after getting back from VA on Sunday me and my friend Alexis took the dogs over there and hung out for a bit. Looks like fun! We are leasing a house in an old neighborhood to give it a try.....really want to buy old in the spring!
