Meet the Parents -- or The Parents meet...

It's a big weekend this coming weekend! Brad and I are having our parents meet for the first time!

YIKES!

A bit nerve racking to be honest with you because my Dad can be a bit of a challenge at times…

Love him to death but he’s a pain at restaurants so we’ve decided to cook dinner Saturday night at Brad’s house to avoid awkwardness, etc.

We’re thinking of grilling out – and enjoying some cocktails.

To be honest – this is the first time I’ve ever had my parents meet a boyfriend’s parents because I’ve always lived in a different state, etc.

Yes, that’s right – I dated a guy for close to 4-years and we never had our parents meet… that’s probably for the best! LOL!

Do any of you have any good idea advice to give? It’s not like they all have to best friends or something…right?
