I'm excited about this weekend! The weather forecast is predicted to be close to 80-degrees and we're going up to Brad's parents house on High Rock Lake - which is around 45 minutes north of Charlotte.
I just love going up there because the lake and scenery are awesome as are Brad's parents!
Mr. Joe's(Brad's dad)birthday was earlier this week so Brad and I are going to cook dinner for him and have a little celebration.
What's on the menu? Can you say jambalaya?! YAY! Being originally from Louisiana I just love the stuff and Brad is now a big fan as well. My parents bought him a cast iron dutch oven for Chrismas so he can get his jambalaya cooking on!

Hi Blue-Eye Scallop. I've actually looked at your blog before. We do have a lot in common...I'm pretty sure we met in college. You were a Kappa? I saw that Jennifer Roy was one of your followers and I asked her. I have always wanted to go to Ocracoke..but it takes so long to get there from here!
