It's probably pretty obvious by reading this blog that we're very family orientated.
It's still sorta shocking to me how I ended up with so much of my family in North Carolina.
My parents are 2 hours away, my first cousin Katie and her husband live here in town along with my stepcousin and her husband.
Then, I have a whole slew of other cousins from the Wallace side that live here in Charlotte as well.
It's all my Dad's family too.
Even so, there is obviously a lot of family that lives out of state.
One of them is my 2nd cousin Lance.
He and his family live in Seattle and I haven't seen them in 5-years.
They have two boys, ages 6 and 2 1/2.
Last night, we all caught up and had dinner at my cousin Katie's house.
 Nothing short of fabulous.
From the apps, to the main course.
It along with the company was exactly what every Wednesday night should include!
Shelby got to hang with all 4 of her cousins.
Lana, Zarah, Cooper and Tobias.
Tobias is just 1-year and 2-weeks older than Shelbs.
What made the night even more exciting was that it was Thao's 40th birthday.
Thao is my cousin Lance's wife.
Along with being Tobias and Cooper's Mommy.
The kids were nuts about the cake!
It was such a great night.
Thanks to my parents, Shelby spent much of yesterday out at their house playing with the boys.
Just wished they lived closer.
Here's until next time!
Today is my Friday.
Tomorrow, we're packing up the camper and heading to Brevard for the weekend.
Ready to enjoy the mountain air and the cooler weather!!
