Charlotte finally got a baseball stadium in Uptown, otherwise known as our downtown.
Opening day for the new minor league ball park was last Friday. We didn't even attempt to get tickets for that first weekend but instead decided to go to the very first 'Thirsty Thursday'.
We went with our friends Lulu and Keith and it was an awesome time!!
I didn't bring my fancy camera but next time I will. The BB&T park is impressive!!
I can't wait to go back for a day game and take Shelby.
Local craft beers on tap everywhere served in plastic mason jars, Carolina BBQ, they thought of everything!
If you live in or around the Queen City, do yourself a favor and go!
We only had standing room only tickets and I almost think I would opt for that every time.
$10, not too bad.

Looks like a fun night!!
So cute! Love all the special touches the stadium does. When Shelby gets older, check in to see if they have a 'rookie club'. Our kids have run bases, played with the players, toured stadiums and more!

I love it! We went to the games in Winston and Greensboro when we lived down there too. A great night out!
We tried to get tix but sold out really quick, would have loved to go to the first game. Plus it was warmer.
