I LOVE the mountains. I love being out in nature hiking, biking, enjoying the scenery, the shade, the cool damp of a mountain morning. Drinking red wine, fires, snuggling up - all of it! And there are so many ways to do it from staying in a luxury resort to a private home to pitching a good ol' tent. I enjoy a good camping trip every now and then - but my husband has NEVER BEEN CAMPING. He enjoys the comfort of his own bed, but with a little boy on the way you better believe we'll be having some family camping trips in the future.

Fabulous post! I may email you with questions about the Grandfather trail. Hubs is wanting to take a day trip up and it seems lofty to me. :)
