Other Random Wedding Tidbits

Random wedding pictures and stuff today. I hope to share some better pictures of my details once I get my disk from my photographer in the next week or so.

Here we go though.
This is a picture the photographer took. This is of Brad's bestie Chip and his wife Olivia. We just love them and hope to take a vacay with them this summer. The boys will hang and we will shop!

I'm showing you this picture because check out how AWESOME my flowers are?? We had tall pieces like this on about 8 tables and lower arrangements on the others. Did you notice they are martini glasses??

Here's a closer up look at one of the centerpieces. Exactly what I had envisioned!! On the cocktail tables they had regular martini glasses with rose petals!

Here's my cake. Swarovski mongrammed topper, flowers by the florist and my cake is a lady who literally works out of her home here in town. She's the best kept secret. Pound cake with butter cream frosting! We had another layer in the back that they cut first. Everyone loved it!

Thanks to Coco - I got the idea to give out Krispy Kreme donuts as our party favors. I had a sign up in that frame that said. 'Enjoy a taste of North Carolina! Krispy Kreme donuts based in Winston Salem, NC. Love, DeAnna and Brad'

I did this because we had so many people whom had never even been to the South much less Charlotte! They had 2 donuts in a box and were a big hit!

Then.. backtracking a bit to the day of the wedding. Makeup and preptime. Check out all of my makeup artists' stuff! AWESOME!

We had a blast in the suite that morning. My besties came and hung out with me and we drank some champagne!

Here I am opening that giant bottle of Vueve I got for my bachelorette party!

Then SIL Robyn brought me this cute wedding day gift with a fun notepad too! Thanks!

All in all.. I have never felt so loved on one particular day of my life. Honestly, after all the weddings I've been in I never realized what it was like to be a bride and what it was really like.

The gifts, the special things people do. It's all awesome. I don't have a picture of it yet.. but what topped the day off even more is that my friend Cathy from college and VEGAS sent us a king cake in our wedding clors and cake serving pieces that were fleur de lis adorned.

I did not buy serving pieces so it was perfect!! more to come kids!!
