Right now I'm back into one of those bouts of wanting to read. I think it's because there are some books out there that really peak my interest.
No, it's not the Twilight series or Harry Potter book. Dee ONLY reads non-fiction. I like to get my learn on..
In the past I've read nearly every book about the OJ Trial, the Scott Peterson Trial and other biographies of rocks stars and legends,etc..etc..
Now what I'm on to? Politics...
Here's what I bought yesterday and am already LOVING it. I know....kinda sick... yeh? I think some people might think so.
In case you're not familiar with this book - it's about the 2008 election and all the drama that surrounded the candidates. It focuses on the Iowa caucauses and how it changed the game(hence the title).
Next on my list after that? Don't judge me...... wait for it.....
Yep.. this sleazy piece. It's all about John Edwards affair with Rielle Hunter and how he tried to cover it up.
BTW - Rielle is living here in Charlotte now. Yeppers.. Johnny Boy bought her a house in the prestigious Eastover hood.
Then after that.. this is the next one on my list. You've seen me post of my admiration of South Carolina's first lady(well, former now I guess) Jenny Sanford. Her hubby is a sleazeball too!
Maybe it's my background in TV news that has me loving this kind of trash? The last book I just got finished with? Mackenzie Phillips - High on Arrival. Lots of drugs --- that's the only thing I can say about that book.

No judement from me. I want to read The Politician too! I'm more of a fiction girl, but I'll throw in non-fiction every once in awhile.
Did you ever read that book, Small Sacrifices about Diane Downs? She shot her 3 kids. Oh, it was awful!! I still think about that book. I shouldn't read non-fiction like that.

I wish I took more time to read, darn it! I'm trying to finish a book as we speak and it seems to take much longer than it did before 2 kids and too many damn tv shows :)
