Sick Pooch

The Buddy has been sick for the past two days. Brad and I have felt like we have a small child on our hands because the sickness seems to come in the middle of the night - keeping us up at all hours. During the day yesterday he was fine but then it started all over again last night.
He's been puking, stuff has been coming out of the other end of him as well, and he's had the shakes at certain points.

Buddy has been known to have stomach issues. On certain occassions he's gotten stressed out and has had this happen..(the vet calls it stress colitis)but what could he be stressed about now? The wedding?? pllzzz....

He's also had this issue before when I've given him treats that aren't fish-based. See The Budster has allergies and can ONLY each fish-based food but I'm not sure what he's eaten this week because he's received zero treats??

I did give him some raw cauliflower but raw veggies don't hurt dogs?

Anyway - we haven't taken him to the vet yet. I know what they'll do anyway -- give me cans of chicken and rice to feed him.
I told Brad to give him some of that at lunch and see what that does? Giving that right after I fed him this morning he proceeded to throw up immediatley -- I know the pooch is hungry.

Any suggestions?? A vet visit may be in my future tomorrow if things don't improve. Not to mention a bath in the future. Buddy smells like vomit!

Oh no! Get better soon Buddy!!!
We give Darby canned pumpkin when she gets the throw ups...it seems to help. Our vet said the pumpkin settles her tummy.

Poor guy!!! If you call the vet they are going to tell you to bring him in. Mason used to have an anxiety induced issue. He had the easiest life on earth...I never understood what stressed him out. Feel better little guy.

Poor Buddy! Sick puppies are no fun. Josie's barfed on every square inch of our $1200 rug. Why did we buy such an expensive rug? Oh yeah, we didn't have a dog back then.
Josie's been sick in the night, but I never know until I find her covered in barf in her crate in the morning. I always feel so bad!
I feed her soda crackers when she has tummy issues, which is at least once a week. I think she eats crap outside. One time I caught her with a gnawed up fruit a squirrel had dropped. She has no lady-like qualities. It's sad to me.
Try soda crackers-- can't hurt! Hope The Buddy feels better soon :(

I hate to say this, but check his food against the national registry. Food from China is more than likely tainted with, well lord knows what. The last round was melanine. My neighbor's dog had the same thing but did not have a big enough lawyer to get retribution. Sheba lived but was very sick from the tainted food. Its worth the research. I hope he gets well soon!
