Geaux Leo Geaux!

As many of you know I grew up in Baton Rouge, left, moved to Arkansas then moved back to Baton Rouge. I graduated from LSU and then worked in TV news for a couple of years before heading to the West Coast.

Whew.. anyway - I worked at WBRZ- Channel 2 in BR where I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people including Leo Honeycutt.

Here he is...those of you from Louisiana may know him?

Well, Leo has written the ONLY authorized biography of former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards. Jail house interviews with Edwards and all!

For those of you not from Louisiana you may not know about good ole' EWE. Well, he was today's Huey P. Long(The Kingfish). Except EWE is in prison now after convicted on bribery and racketeering.

Back to the book. Leo's book went to print this week and from what I hear it will sell out.
All 10,000 copies this week. It will be making its way around the country in 2010. I hope to get a signed copy!
