Oh, how fun they've been! Me and my cousin Alayna made it our 'annual' weekend to get together and have had such a great time doing it!
There's just too much going on with wedding stuff and I didn't feel comfortable spending the money this year. I can tell you what though.. NEXT YEAR! Maybe we'll go skiing??
Here's a look at some of the fun places we've been.
2008 - Beantown! I had been to Boston before several times but Alayna had not. We hit all sorts of sites, including Cheers, and it even snowed one day while we were there!
2007 - New York City. Alayna did not make it this year but I traveled with another friend to New York City to enjoy all the holiday lights, trees, and shopping! It was SUPER, DUPER cold that year!
2006 - Washington DC. What an awesome time of year to visit this city. The decor and The National Tree. We visited the Holocaust museum on this trip too. Her and my other 2 cousins are going back this year but again.. just too much going on for me to join. BOO!
2005 - New York City. Alayna was on this trip too but this was before I had a digital camera and I don't have any of her in it scanned. This year it was me, Alayna, my Mom and my friend Dana who went. It was my first visit to the city. It was the first weekend in Dec. and
we saw all the holiday decor(windows), Rockfeller tree, etc.
We saw also took in a Broadway show, saw all the sites, and shopped. Very fun and again...VERY cold!
2004 - Washington DC. This was the first of our trips like this together. We actually drove up there from Charlotte overnight in a snow storm! Craziness! We got a private Capitol tour through a Congresswoman, visited the National Tree(behind us), and discovered Ebitt Grille! SO love that place.
Well, thanks for traveling back in time with me. Now back to reality.
