Bridal Portrait Shoot Weekend

Another fun weekend to check off the list. The bridal shoot was one word, AWESOME!!

Here are a few things I learned:
* Allow extra time to get your hair and makeup done when in wedding mode. 2 hours minimum so you're not rushed!
* 5 pounds weight loss can make a HUGE difference in your attitude, confidence and the way your dress fits!
* getting a wedding dress altered is EXPENSIVE! Can you say the same amount as the dress cost?!
* Furs are a MUST for winter weddings. Especially when you're taking pictures outside in 30-degree weather.
* I'm a rock star when it comes to running down the middle of the street in Downtown Charlotte with high heels and a wedding dress on.
* My photographer is an even bigger rock star for laying down in the middle of Tryon St. in Downtown Charlotte to get the picture of me running.
* Lip gloss is my b/f/f
* If you're going to take bridal pictures before the wedding - prepare to have your dress cleaned again. SO WORTH IT THOUGH!

I can't wait to share the pictures. I just saw them on the digital camera but am STOKED! We didn't do a bunch of posed shots in front of an oak tree. Instead - it was fun, exciting and most of all showed my personality.

Get this...I even got a shot of me in my wedding dress in the restaurant's wine cellar. So COOL!

Then after the photo shoot that lasted for 2 1/2 hours.. We went to dinner and to see The Nutcracker.

It was just as I remembered it. Lots of kiddos but what was different this time? Hardly any little boys. I guess people are freaked about their boys being gay or something? They had little girls dressed up as boys in the show. Crazy..

Me and Kelli. These were tutus they were selling for little girls at the gift shop at the show. Kelli says she prefers purple!

Then Sunday Mom came back to the house to give The Buddy his Christmas gift. My Mom is so funny about the dog. She believes(and so do I).. that he knows when he has a gift.

Well, of course he does! There is food and toys inside!
