Arkansas Trip

I'm back from Arkansas with SO MUCH to share.

It's going to take me a day or so to get all my pictures and thoughts organized but I thought I would post a little something.

First off....

Our trip out there?

A nightmare!

Canceled flights, switched airlines, lost luggage..

Nightmare.

Again, my Mom traveled with me and once we received our luggage, all was good.

I'll leave it at that.

This was my first trip back to Hot Springs, Arkansas(where all our family lives and I finished my last 3-years of high school), in 2 years.

It was my first visit back home too, since my Maw Maw passed away over a year and half ago.

Her house still sits in the same place, looking the same way.

I'm going to be honest, it was a little weird for me.

She lived there my entire life.

Doesn't seem right that she's not in there rocking away in her chair talking on the phone.

Moving on..

A week before my scheduled trip I discovered that bloggy friend Allison, over at the Soladay Family, was going to be in town at her in-laws lake home..

I first met her last Summer in her hometown of Dallas, so we decided to meet up for breakfast on the lake.

So fun catching up!!

I'm still amazed at all the wonderful women I've met through this blog!

And, of course we had the weekend of showers.

I can't wait to post about the wedding shower me and my cousins hosted for my cousin Alayna!!

And, then of course, I'll post all the details of my first baby shower given by my Aunts and cousins.

Everything was PERFECT!!
