Courson's Cinco de Mayo Party

This past weekend was full of all sorts of fun.
Not only was it Golf Tournament weekend here it Charlotte but it was also the Derby and Cinco de Mayo too!
I'm not one to generally go all out for Cinco de Mayo but it was on a Saturday this year and our friends, The Courson's, threw a party.
 Katie went all out.
There were decorations...
 And, tons of food!
Not all of it is out in this picture but you can kinda get the idea.
 Layered dip
 Southwestern egg rolls
 Margarita cupcakes
 Everything was festive and fun!
All of the details were perfect.
There was a bar complete with margaritas, sangria with elder flower liqueur, and beers of Mexico.
They had their back patio decorated too.
And, the corn hole was brought out to enjoy.
I wish I had taken more pictures but I was busy socializing.
There was also a taco bar and a delicious chicken appetizer.
I need to get some of her recipes and share with all of you.
We had a great time and had a chance to meet some new people that we've heard about but have never met.
It may have been a Cinco de Mayo party but the Derby wasn't ignored.
We did a draw..
And, Aaron and Craig won.
What would a party be without a girl's picture?!
The night was topped off with Katie bringing out her tropical fusion jello shots!
Thanks for Katie and Josh for having us!
We had a fabulous time and I got a few ideas for my next Mexican themed dinner party!
