I'm 17-weeks today and I'll do a post updating you all on that tomorrow but for now I'm going to dig back into my 'private blog journal' for a post I wrote at 11 and 1/2 weeks.
=========================================
I'm the Matron of Honor in my cousin Alayna's wedding in October and by then I'll be large and in charge with only 8-weeks until D-Date.
BUT.. the bridesmaid dress has to be ordered now because it takes 3-months to get in due to the rare color choice of the bride.
So, I went shopping and let the sales lady know that I'm 11 1/2 weeks along but at that point I'll be 8-months along.
She did what any sales woman would do.
Give me a strap on pillow to try dresses on with!
A sight of what's to come?
I think so.
I'm already starting to show and tomorrow is 12-weeks.
I'm already wondering if it's a boy because of getting so big so quick?
As much as I liked that purple dress above it's not available in the bride's color choice.
So instead I'll be going with the style below.
12-weeks tomorrow and I'm starting to feel a little better already.
==================================
My dress has come in, I just need to pick it up.
I'm thinking I'll wait until September to alter it.
Stop by tomorrow for updates!
You will look lovely. What color did they bride choose?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Kinda neat to see how you would look like with a bigger bump. So adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou will look so glam!
ReplyDeleteYou will look fabulous in that dress!
ReplyDeleteaww I like it- you look so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so cracking up... My mom keeps saying how cute you will look with your bump:)
ReplyDeleteI saw that 1st picture and was like "Wow! Dee really popped!" Ha. My sister was pregnant when she got married. My parents had to buy a 2nd wedding dress a week before the big day!
ReplyDeleteI love the pillow! I was in a wedding while PG and I bought the dress WAYYYY too big- I OVER Estimated- had to get it all taken in, which was fine :) rather be smaller than bigger- but THEN I made up for it and got huge. You will be a beautiful 8 month pregnant matron :)
ReplyDeleteYou will look so great Dee!
ReplyDeleteI was in a wedding when I was 6 months prego. It was hard because I wasn't ready to tell anyone that I was pregnant yet when we tried on dresses, so I had to keep secret about it and just let the sales person know. I really only needed to get it altered in the chest and length with the empire style. It worked just fine with my belly. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteNow a days, the pregnant bridesmaid dress is available for the pregnant bridesmaid women. There are certain dress stores available and easily identified with the help of android wedding apps. The engaged people should make use of it.
