Nearly all my close friends live outside of Charlotte.
It's a bummer but it is what it is.
I guess that's how it goes when you spent half of your life in TV news where everyone moves around.
Well, one of my besties is in Charlotte this week!!
Kara!!
She was my very first friend in Charlotte and has long been my hiking buddy. We've been friends for just over 9-years now.
So GREAT to see her and catch up!!
She lives in Dallas now but is in town with her boyfriend to spend the week in the mountains hiking.
Speaking of mountains and hiking. We're headed up to the Blue Ridge Parkway this afternoon for our big camping adventure!!
We're thinking we might try and catch up with Kara and Brian on Sunday before we leave!
