The Halls are Semi-Decked

Our Halls are Decked -- or semi-decked.
Shelby's 1st birthday 'Winter Onederland' is this Sunday afternoon so everything is not 100% the way it should be for the holidays but that will happen later this week when my Mom comes in and helps.

Until then, a look at what is up and out.
Our main tree in our living room.
Yes, I'm a sucker for gold.
The ribbon is a gold fleur de lis.
 Hallway on the main floor.
 And, new this year...
A pink and green tree!
Shelby already has so many ornaments given to her by both of her grandmothers that I wanted to do a tree just for her.
A fun girly tree!
I wanted to do this last year but obviously did not.
She has her own smaller tree for her room but I thought this was fun as well.
We're incorporating her small tree for her birthday party.
Pictures of that next week.
After decking our halls we took Shelby to visit Santa at the mall!
Is this not the best picture or what????
She was a perfect angel.
I swear, we are too lucky with what a good baby she has been!!
She hasn't even been really interested in the trees either.
I'm thinking it's because where they are placed in the room.
Bring on her 2nd year!!!

And next year I'm going to start doing a birthday tree for Mia. Love that idea! Our girls deserve it since their birthdays are so close to Christmas (I tried to tell Mia to come early!!)
Mia doesn't really go around our tree, either! If she ever gets interested we just say, "Mia?" She looks at us, smiles, then walks away from it, ha!
